This LEM MaxVac® Sealer Hose is a versatile unit that can be used with LEM's MaxVac® Sealers and other brand vacuum sealers. This hose will allow you to remove the air from canning jars with our Canning Jar Sealers and the MaxVac® 3 Piece Canister Set by attaching one end of the hose to the vacuum sealer and the other to the canister lid.

Give a snug fit.
I had a few older External hose attachments left over from a Foodsaver machine. As luck would have it they did not fit snuggly into the LEM vac machine I have. So, I ordered this and am back in business vacuuming my jars and other containers. I do wish that they made one without the cup on one end, I would have preferred just the plug in on both ends.

Works with Food Saver
This a great hose attachment for my Food Saver. I actually use it to vacuum the air out of the reusable zip bags. The ones with the hole in the corner. I use the bags to keep my 3d printing filament dry and protected from moisture. Works like a charm.

Will this work on Nesco Vacuum Sealers

Viewing the Nesco Vacuum Sealers, I am thinking that the vacuum hose made for LEM will not work on the Nessco. For the hose to work, the port inside the vacuum chamber is needed for the hose to function. I have had at least three vacuum sealers from other manufactures, and the LEM seems to be the only one the port is available for the external hose to function. That just based on photo observations.

This hose should work with Food Saver canisters. Just hold the large end of the hose over the top of the vacuum port on the jar and turn on the vacuum.

Yes, this can be used with all MaxVac sealers. You'll need the canning jar lid also.

The MaxVac Pro Chamber sealer does not have an external port. Jars can be sealed directly in the chamber sealer. The larger ones will need to be placed on their side.
The hose works with other MaxVac sealer models.

No, the External Hose Attachment does not work with our MaxVac Pro Chamber Sealer. This hose attachment is designed for our external sealers, MaxVac 100, 250, 500, and 1000.
