Andes Beebe

I’m Andes, a first-generation farmer and mom of two based in Washington State. Together with my family, we’re building a life centered around raising our own food, stewarding the land, and bringing traditional skills back into everyday life. What started as a desire to know where our food came from has grown into a passion for sharing the realities of modern homesteading—the beautiful moments, the hard work, and everything in between. 

On our farm, we raise pasture-raised poultry, cattle, livestock guardian dogs, and a large garden that keeps our pantry stocked year-round. Whether I’m harvesting vegetables, preserving the season’s bounty, making jam with my kids, processing our own chickens, or tackling a new farm project, my goal is always the same: to show that these skills are attainable with the right knowledge and the right tools. I love teaching others through honest, hands-on storytelling that gives people the confidence to try something new, whether that’s preserving their first batch of tomatoes, raising backyard chickens, or processing homegrown meat for their family. 

Homesteading isn’t about perfection—it’s about learning, growing, and becoming a little more self-sufficient each season. Roots & Harvest has become a natural part of that journey. Their tools help simplify the work we do every day, allowing us to spend less time struggling with equipment and more time focusing on what matters most: creating wholesome food, making memories with our children, and inspiring others to build a life that’s a little closer to the land.
