This Electric Bath Canner is a versatile kitchen appliance. More energy-efficient and versatile than a stovetop hot water bath canner, this multi-cooker can also be used to boil water for pasta, corn on the cob, and seafood. Use it to dispense coffee, cider, cocoa, and other hot beverages too. Temperature adjusts from 120° to 212° F (boil) / 49° to 100° C, and an indicator light shows when set temperature is reached. Includes one-piece stainless steel pot with plug-in base, glass lid, and removable canning rack.

Love this light weight easy to use canner
Uses less water to can so faster and easier to lift and use then traditional water bath canners. Can can 7 quart jars. Cannot double stack.

Purchased my second canner on sale. These work so well. I love that it frees up my stove top. These can be used indoors or outdoors Canning is all about convenience for me.

Know before you buy!
This canner only does a hard boil which does not work for some things and requires a lot of watching to be sure the water stays high enough. They intentionally made it a hard boil only canner yet don't tell you that when you buy it.
Can't get a refund only store credit of I send it back on my dime.

Leaky spout.....
Bought two and both are leaking around the spout. Had read previous reviews and looks like everyone is having the same problem. Have tightened usually lasts 1 or 2 uses.

Holds a lot however there is a spigot issue.
Love my canner and it holds a lot, however the spigot keeps coming loose. Everytime I use it now I have to tighten the spigot. I had a horrible mess with boiling water spewing everywhere. I have seen several complaints on a group I am in with the same issue. It needs to be corrected before someone gets seriously burned from the water. Otherwise it worked good.

Great overall
Love how big it is - larger than the Ball FreshTech I had before.

I have had to fiddle with the little spigot a few times as it tends to want to leak. I think a thicker rubber gasket would help with this.

I also wish the base was not attached to the actual pot, but I assume this helps with keeping the cost down.

Love the glass lid and ability to select specific temperatures.

I don’t know I use it to water batch can I know it has tempature setting but never check how accurate they are. It gives a great rolling boil

Can you buy the glass lid seprately? I have 2 of these canners but they have black plastic lids. To be able to see inside would be perfect

A glass lid is available for the bath canner. It can be purchased by contacting our Customer Service Department. They are available Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (877) 536-7763. Currently the lid is out of stock until May 2025.

Can you steam can in it?

We have not used this for steaming. It does include a removeable rack and can also be used to boil items such as water for pasta or corn on the cob.

The red light never goes off, I set it to boil and when the water is boiling the light is still on. What is the lught for?
