It starts with a traditional ceramic water‑seal crock set that creates the ideal environment for slow, steady fermentation. The glazed crock features a water‑seal moat that lets carbon dioxide escape while keeping dust and contaminants out, and it includes a matching glazed lid along with two unglazed stone weights for reliable submersion.

Preparing your vegetables is simple with the triple‑blade cabbage cutter. It slices through a whole head of cabbage in minutes and handles potatoes, apples, and other firm produce just as easily. Made from sturdy, hand‑sanded bamboo, it offers a smooth, natural feel with a removable sliding safety guard and a built‑in finger‑hold for steady control. Once everything is sliced, the wooden cabbage stomper helps you pack vegetables tightly into your crock or jars. Its double‑ended beechwood design fits both wide‑mouth and regular‑mouth mason jars, giving you firm, even pressure that draws out liquid and helps produce a clean, flavorful ferment.
