Make homemade butter in as little as 10 minutes with this complete butter making kit. The included butter churner transforms whipping cream into rich, creamy butter—simply pour cream into the 1-quart glass jar, attach the lid with built-in paddles, and turn the handle. The lid features a convenient pour spout and strainer to drain buttermilk without the need for cheesecloth, and it is compatible with most wide mouth canning jars. Two grooved bamboo paddles make it easy to press out excess buttermilk and shape the butter into blocks or pats. A step-by-step infographic is included, complete with instructions and a recipe for honey cinnamon butter. Once your butter is ready, use the traditional stoneware keeper crock to store up to half a cup of butter, keeping it soft, fresh, and perfectly spreadable.

Throughout history, families have benefited from the time-honored tradition of using the land to sustain them. Cultivating homegrown goods has a way of building community, encouraging hard work, and passing down life-long skills. Having the right equipment and instruction is essential to building this dream; this is where we would like to help. Roots & Harvest® delights in supporting this dream by supplying the necessary equipment for the urban homesteader to those fully living off the land. We love helping people discover and embrace skills such as bread-baking, cheese-making, canning, fermenting, meat bird raising and so many more.
