Invaluable for Getting Started and Reference
What a surprise when I opened up my box from Roots and Harvest to find the Preserving Food at Home book along with my Pressure Canner!
I have spent hours looking through the tips and valuable information about canning, freezing and preserving fruits and vegetables. I feel like I gained a good baseline of information to get me going. So many things I didn't know and hadn't thought about. I especially liked the meal planning section for harvest season. Love it!

Not a pressure canning cookbook!
No pressure canning recipes, only water bath canning recipes. Highly disappointing.
