Turn your MightyBite® 5 lb. Sausage Stuffer (model 1606SS) into a cheese press with this easy-to-use adapter. Simply slide the stainless steel cylinder and base into the stuffer frame, and you’re ready to start making homemade cheese. Designed to hold 1–2 gallons of milk, this adapter produces a perfectly formed 1 lb. wheel of cheese. Cleanup is quick and simple. Just remove the cylinder like you would when making sausage and wash—it's even dishwasher safe. Easy to use and built for durability, this adapter makes it simple to craft your own artisan cheeses right at home.

Dr. Brigid McCrea

Educational, Extension Specialist, Chicken Whisperer

Dr. Brigid McCrea is an Extension Specialist at Auburn University working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Avian Science are from the University of California at Davis, and Ph.D. in Poultry Science is from Auburn University. She specializes in small flocks; niche market poultry products; and both pre– and post-harvest food safety. She is also the co-author of “The Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Keeping Chickens,” “Chicken Fact or Chicken Poop,” and “Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Zero Waste Chicken Keeping.”
